These Terms govern your use of Court Compiler (the "Service"), a tool for creating court‑ready electronic bundles. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Privacy & GDPR

• We process uploaded files in memory or temporary storage only, strictly for generating a bundle.
• We do not permanently retain documents or generated bundles.
• Account & billing data is handled securely by our providers (e.g., Clerk, Stripe).
• You remain responsible for ensuring you have lawful basis to process any personal data you upload.

3. Compliance

The Service aims to support UK court presentation requirements (e.g., CPR/PDs, Criminal Procedure Rules). You are responsible for verifying final compliance for your jurisdiction and listing.

4. Acceptable Use

• No unlawful content or infringement of third‑party rights.
• No attempts to probe, scan, or breach the Service’s security.
• No uploading malware or content that could harm our infrastructure.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

• Monthly subscription with a free trial (where offered). Stripe manages payments and renewals.
• Non‑payment may lead to suspension after reasonable retries.

6. No Legal Advice

We provide software only. Nothing in the Service is legal advice.

7. Warranties & Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We disclaim warranties to the extent permitted by law and limit liability to fees paid in the last 12 months, except where prohibited.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security concerns, or legal reasons.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
